I will be calling First Direct mortgage team in the morning but wondered if anyone knew the answer.
Our current Mortgage is with First Direct & fixed for another 3 years at 2.29% (10 year fix)
We have found a house which we have offered on and had accepted. Our house is on the market (8 weeks) but not sold yet (It has been around 4 weeks since we had the offer accepted), could we purchase the other house using a tracker from Nationwide (No Early Repayment Charge) & when our house sells move the First Direct Mortgage over via porting?

Check the T&C but you can't usually port to a property you already own...I assume you've checked that you meet the affordability requirements for having both mortgages at the same time?0
