At Grooby’s Pit it’s all about relaxing to the sounds of nature and watching wildlife, including kingfishers. This peaceful adult only park has a large, well-stocked coarse fishing lake on site that’s exclusively for the use of guests (charges apply). 

Loved for the friendly welcome, Grooby’s Pit was named ‘Best Small Site’ in this year’s Top 100 Sites by Practical Caravan! The owners Neil and Tracy assisted by wardens Robert and Debbie are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to ensure an enjoyable stay.

There are just 17 pitches all set around the main lake, providing a spacious, fully serviced hardstanding area with electricity, grey waste drain and drinking water. Facilities include a modern, high-spec shower block and an off-lead exercise area for your four legged companions and shower for them too.

Eight miles from Skegness, this park is ideal for visiting Lincoln, Louth, Horncastle, Woodhall-Spa and the Lincolnshire Wolds.

• The prize is 3 consecutive on a touring pitch at Grooby’s Pit, Bridgefoot Farm, Steeping Road, Thorpe St Peter, Skegness, PE24 4QT.
• The prize must be booked in advance, subject to availability and terms applicable at the time of booking.
• The prize includes 1 touring caravan, motorhome, campervan, plus 1 car, 2 adults and 1 awning.
• The prize also includes £1 of metered electricity per night. Any extra electricity is chargeable.
• Other extras (e.g. extra nights, extra cars, people, visitors, dogs, fishing etc.) are charged at the normal rate.
