hi guys
just bought myself a reurbished Air Lift 2 Pet Plus 1.5L 950w, it looks like new to be honest, all the hose are unclogged but the suction is very weak, it wouldnt even suck a piece of tissue it is that weak. i have come to te conclusion that it is the motor but how do i fix it? i am even thinking they may have put the motor in wrong or put in a very weak motor in.
any advise please?
many thanks

I've had this problem with some of our vacuums over the years as the OH will hoover up anything rather than pick up big bits and put in the bin. Hence there'll be several whole dried tree leave stuck in a bend somewhere that then prevents rug fluff etc from getting through the the suction just gets weaker and weaker. Usually take me about 30 minutes to do a thorough dismantle and blow through. And I normally do this out in the garden so that I don't have to tidy up too much. & the birds normally like the rug fluff...well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. forgot to mention that i took all the filters out to test it out, to rule out the filters and that made me think its the motor because even without the filters, it still very very weak.
