The fun begins on Friday 30th May when you’ll travel from Newcastle to Leeds with TransPennine Express*. 
Once you arrive into Leeds, check into your stylish apartment at the brand new Hyatt House Leeds, a real home away from home, where you’ll be relaxing for two nights. Your stay includes breakfast at their modern Zoom Bar & Restaurant.

There is one prize package to be won.  

The prize package includes:  

• One pair of Standard Class tickets to travel to Leeds from Newcastle on the TransPennine Express network on Friday 30th May 2025, returning on Sunday 1st June 2025.  (Tickets are subject to availability).
• A two-night stay including breakfast for two people at Hyatt House Leeds, arriving on Friday 30th May 2025 and departing on Sunday 1st June 2025.  
• Lunch for two including one bottle of red or white wine at Uyare at 1pm on Saturday 31st May 2025.  
• Two tickets to The Glee Club on Saturday 31st May 2025 and a £50 bar tab to spend on food and drink.

Prize is not-refundable and not-transferable.  

Entry and prize for over 18s only. 

One entry per person.  

No cash or other alternative prizes are available.  

Other than the TransPennine Express tickets, travel is not included. 

The giveaway is open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, except employees and their immediate families of the competition partners or anyone professionally connected with this giveaway.   

Entry to the competition is only by completing the form on this page and submitting an email address within the competition live times.  

The competition opens Thursday 17th April 2025 and closes at midnight on Sunday 11th May 2025. Entrants after this time will not be included in the prize draw.  

One winner will be chosen at random and informed by Thursday 15th May 2025. Due to the tight timescale, if the original winner has not replied by 9am on Monday 19th May 2025, an alternative winner will be chosen.  

The winner will be asked to provide full name, contact telephone number and address details when they are contacted in order to claim their prize.  

The winner is solely responsible for all additional costs and expenses associated with claiming the prize.  

The competition partners, TransPennine Express, Hyatt House Leeds, Uyare and The Glee Club, reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.  

The winner’s details will be shared with TransPennine Express, Hyatt House Leeds, Uyare and The Glee Club and partners may contact the winner direct to arrange the prize.   

Visit Leeds reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should circumstances make this necessary. Visit Leeds’ decision is final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
