Hi,
Realistically how much full applications/hard credit searches is going to damage my credit score? If I have a pretty excellent score elsewhere?
I’ve already applied for a couple of products (both have which have provided an offer) however with the rate changes, I’m now torn between applying for a new product with the new/cheapest lender or waiting a few weeks to see what else comes out (following the rate drop) - however noting this product could be pulled at any minute.

Can you not approach the companies who have already offered and ask if their rates have dropped? They may be able to offer better rate without going through a full application again0

There is not just the credit score to take into account.
It could look dodgy to a mortgage lender that someone is applying for 3 mortgages on the same property.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. One application at a time.
Multiple applications can lead to a World of trouble.
Getting tagged for 'suspicious activity' is not something you will welcome.I am a Mortgage Broker

Hi,
Just want to clarify what you mean - you say 1 application at a time, so is it okay to do multiple applications so long as an offer is given for each first?
If not, I’m not sure how several brokers offer a rate switch service if rates get better?0
