Sainsburys long-term site issues made my gift cards and coupons inaccessible.

I've been shopping online with sainsburys for about 8 months now.  A couple of relatives regularly send me sainsburys gift cards as I'm on a low income.  One relative always sends it by just telling me the gift card number and pin number, which I then enter at checkout, it converts to a coupon and can then be spent.  I have over £200 in already-converted coupons on my sainsburys account, and over £100 on another gift card like this where I only have the numbers and must convert them online.

For about two weeks now, there has been a problem with the sainsburys site.  When I get to check out and try to access my coupons or enter the new gift card it says "For technical reasons, we have not been able to connect you to the page you requested and we hope to be able to do so soon. Please try again."

Two weeks and there is still no sign of this being fixed.  This means sainsburys has over £300 belonging to me in gift card and coupons that I can't spend.  I have emailed sainsburys customer services, Simon Roberts CEO, Mike Coupe CEO and Sarah Tipper @ customer services and have not received a reply from any of them.

If the website isn't working they could just give me the amount I'm owed in a physical gift card.  Please help.  As I said I'm on a low income and can't afford to lose over £300.

If you're on social media (twitter, facebook etc) a public post usually gets a quicker response as companies dislike negative publicity.
Hopefully it gets sorted quickly for you.

Mike Coupé hasn't been the CEO of Sainsbury's for the best part of 5 years.

Have you tried telephoning their customer services?

https://help.sainsburys.co.uk/help/contact-us has various options and lists the phone number as

I have just had the worse experience with Sainsburys.

I would not recommend the help line or contact centre. They don't have an official complaints team

I started with the Chat, the chat said, we can only give you another number.

The helpline has people that don't seem to listen and robotically respond with
Before you have even stated your name...you get:
"I understand, Is there anything else I can help you with?, Let me transfer you to another department"....................

What was my issue? The Giftcard to voucher scandal. It should be illegal!

I transfered my giftcard to the voucher to complete the online shop. It says I have reached the limit. (Had no idea there was a limit, or I wouldnt have chosen Sainsburys).
I reduce the shop, then it says; You have to spend over the value of the voucher! (this is against the rules of giftcard, so I see why they want voucher!) so I did by 15p.
Then, it wouldn't accept the voucher for the delivery. So, I had to pay separately for this.
Then on the day of the order, even selecting no substitutions, I receive an email, your order will be cancelled if you don't pay a further 14.00!
I had already spent 270! I had no more.

I could not then go into the store and do the shop. My order was cancelled. The vouchers are just sitting there in Sainsburys hands and we are all starving.

I spoke to 8 people in Sainsburys including management and not one could resolve it, they all said out of their hands try one of their other 6 departments.
