Existing lender switch rate cheaper than comparison sites

Current mortgage ending end June 2025; LTV is ~45% , 15 years left. Surprised to find that my existing lender (HSBC) is offering me the cheapest rates of all for 2 or 3 yr fixed deals, cheaper than any of the comparison sites I'd looked at.....I had expected to find another lender with a cheaper rate but maybe not. Is this unusual?

Its the look of the draw. The chances of you being with the cheapest lender at renewal is slim (there are over 90 lenders), but it does happen.

I've always found HSBC cheapest and they normally offer a slight reduction for being existing customer. I secured 4.14% 2 year no fees so far for my deal ending 30th June.
