I missed my call from the DWP to top up my national insurance

I'm in a panic because I requested a call back so I could top up my National Insurance contributions, & I only just got the text dated May 1 saying I'd get a call from them on May 2nd, but I had no idea of the text or call & missed both.

Am I now doomed to having a state pension of £139.00 a week because I missed my chance?

I'm shattered.

This is ridiculous!  I tried calling them multiple times just to get cut off, & I miss the one call they gave me & will be a poverty struck pensioner because of it?

Does anyone have a phone number for them that isn't an 0800 number, as calling that from a mobile doesn't work.

Are you sure they called on May 2nd?  Lots of posts on here saying they didn't call when they said they would.  You may not have missed anything yet.

Thanks DRS1,  I called the future pensions centre after posting this & actually got through!  It's all sorted now, I'm so relieved.
