On a P60, is the amount of money in the box in the column 'Pay' and in the row 'In this employment' before or after tax is deducted?

It's your total pay. The column next to it shows the tax you paid on it1

Total taxable pay; so if for example you were in a pension scheme operating under the net pay arrangement the figure would be your gross after deducting your pension contribution.1

Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!2 -
Thanks everyone 🙂 So, the number in the box with the dark blue outline and asterisk labelled 'In this employment' should show my gross earnings less pension contributions but before tax?0
