P60 - Pay In this employment

On a P60, is the amount of money in the box in the column 'Pay' and in the row 'In this employment' before or after tax is deducted?

It's your total pay. The column next to it shows the tax you paid on it1

Total taxable pay; so if for example you were in a pension scheme operating under the net pay arrangement the figure would be your gross after deducting your pension contribution.1

Tax should never be deducted.1
