Apologies if there is already a post about this but I b*ggered if I can find it!

How do I make my own corned beef? I've searched on the internet and all recipes seem to be american and I can't work it out at all. Just wondered if anyone on here had done it themselves and what I should do? I'm thinking it should be done in my slow cooker but apart from that I really don't know.

Ideas on a postacrd to ..... or just reply to this post as it'll be easier and cheaper!

I have a feeling that American corned beef is different in some way, don't know why I think this, just do!

Yes, I think American corned beef is actually like our salt beef.

Hi all,

My mother is visiting from Australia and she told me her friend makes a lovely dish with corned silverside in the slow cooker.

Does anybody know how to make the corned siverside to start with as it seam to be an aussie thing.
