Link Financial have responded to my letter asking for an SoA or, in their words, a Personal Budget Form.
My options are, I either call them, login to an online portal or request one be sent out to me.
I am assuming I should send a further letter requesting one be sent out to me?0 -
No, just log in to their website and give them figures that demonstrate a minus figure.
You never give them your actual figures, just make them up, its simply to keep them happy no more.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. @sourcrates
Shall I open an online account for all of the DPA's? So Cabot, LINK and Lowells
I'm getting a little overwhelmed with it all to be honest.0 -
Its quite simple, you just pay your debts as you did pre debt management, the only difference is you pay what is affordable, not what you would have paid previously.
Just go to the website of whoever is writing to you, and set up a payment plan, either by standing order or pay by card if you prefer, take`s a few mins each month, its quite easy.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Buit I literally can only afford a few pounds per debt per month at the moment. Surely they'll refuse that?
My mortgage is £1200 a month on its own let alone everything else I have to pay for.
I defaulted for a reason not to avoid the debt but purely because we are really struggling day to day at the moment.0 -
Are Wescot and Cabot the same company by the way? I have letters from Wescot on behalf of Cabot so who are the one's I should deal with?0

If you pay eg. £5 what do you think the creditors will do?
Do you think they will return it to you saying it isn't enough?
No they will accept it.
You have got to change your mindset, you are in charge not the creditors. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -

A typical arrangement within the debt collection world.
At the moment you should deal with Wescott.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
