Managed to make my normal OP early this month as DH was paid early -just hope we can keep the reins on as it will be longer till next pay day! Anyway, mortgage is set to go under £37k when we make our 'regular' payment on 2nd October. Whoopee!
Keep up the good work everyone.

Thank you  I've just reduced my working days from 5 to 4 (only losing 3 hours in the process but gaining a whole day to do what I want!). Mystery shopping meals provide the majority of our 'entertainment' and I also work for AQA in my spare time for a bit of extra cash. I really need to declutter and I'm hoping that might add to my mortgage pot.0 -
hi bellsbells, i declare my target to be £600 for this year ...really hoping to be able to do better than that if i can:D have to feed my new addiction!!:rotfl:0

Due to cashing in endowment and then being able to pay off 5% in overpayments on my mortgage, have reached my annual target of £2135.70:j . So cannot make any more op's this year, but will be back next April (start of my year for op's) to join in next year's challenge. Good luck to each and every one of you who are on this challenge and keep up the good work.
Thanks also to bellsbells:beer: (who I will pm shortly) for looking after us all and keeping a log of our progress - and to everyone else  for the inspiration and determination you have given me.When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0 -

Hi,
I transferred £950 last night. Not as much as I hoped but I have had a holiday and an expensive weekend this month.
Plus I've realised that my original target was set more in enthusiasm than reality!0 -
not sure what to do with my (small) payrise of net £50 a month.
If i pay it off of our mortgage then it reduces the term another 2 years our making us mortgage-free in 8 years. sound good.
But, whilst the children are still quite little i want to take them to Disneyworld so want to put some money back for that in a few years time.
Oh, what's a girl to do?
well done everyone for being so focused.Sky-blue pink
