Just wanted peoples advise please;
I’ve received several letters from LCS debt about an old mobile contract with ID mobile from April 2023 £249.80 (it is my debt I believe)
So few things;
I should never have been allowed a mobile on contract as my credit is literally 0. I have Bipolar Disorder and when manic get myself in to debt and take out contracts etc. I do not have the capacity at that time to agree to terms let alone read them!!

The whole point of my credit being so bad (45k debts in past due to being manic all sorted) is that I cannot get anything on credit.
They clearly did not do a credit check and hey Presto brand new iPhone and 2 year contract!!! Which might I add was unaffordable for me being on benefits, I can’t barely pay for food and gas/electric at the minute.
My questions are;
do I contact them?
do I contact them?
Will they take me to court
what’s my best plan of action
thanks

Do they refer to "their client" in the letter?
If so, they are just acting as collector, so can`t take any action against you whatsoever, except ask you to pay.
So you can ignore them.
However, if they have bought the debt, then send the provit letter to them.
Push comes to shove, pay them £1 a month.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I think LCS are just a debt collector, and one of the more incompetent ones.0
