Struggling with the wait

Long story short I’m almost 43 who has cleared almost 40k of debts in the last few years, I’ve also doubled my income by expanding my business and am finally in a position to buy a house.
I applied last week through a broker and got an agreement in principal straight away with Barclays, I’ve sent everything off and am now struggling with the wait to see if it’s gone through, no point to my post but no one irl I can talk to about it 🤣. This point has been my goal and motivation to clearing my debts for the last 7 ish years and now I’m worrying I’m going to crash if I’m not successful.
thanks for reading 🙂

Good luck with your application, really hope it goes through for you. I know what it feels like to think buying your own house is never going to happen for you, at an age where it seems everyone else has owned for years, and then when it actually looks possible, the waiting on tenterhooks convinced something will go wrong is very real!2

It doesnt record the outcome anywhere.
You might not proceed because its been declined, because the property failed the valuation, because the seller pulled out etc.
