Still Waiting for Default letters. Should I ignore NCO?

“Your American Express card has been cancelled due to none payment and has now been referred to NCO Europe for
collections. Our aim is to help you achieve repayment of the outstanding balance.
What are the next steps?
Please call us on 0330 060 1038 to stop further interest being applied on your Account. We can set up a repayment plan for a minimum
monthly payment, and American Express will stop adding interest for the life of the plan. Alternatively, if you can’t afford the minimum
monthly payment required, we can still support you by referring your Account to a specialised Financial Difficulties Team, who will be able to
freeze interest on your Account and work with you to find a suitable solution.
We are here to help Please get in touch with us at your earliest convenience, so we can discuss the options and agree the next steps,
through one of the below methods of contact.
Important Note: If you fail to engage with NCO Europe or to make payments in accordance with a repayment arrangement, American
Express will register a Default with the Credit Reference Agencies if not already registered. This may affect your ability to obtain credit in the future.”
