NHS pension increase - why so low?

On the positive side, the CPI index number for Sep 2024 was 134.2 and for March 2025 it was 136.5.So that is already an increase of more than 1.7% with only half the year to September 2025 gone, so the increase in April 2026 will probably be rather higher than April 2025.5
