It's a grey polyester anorak or car coat with "YSL" written on it. Tray chick, or what!

Weh - tres chic. This thing doesn't do acute accents.
  • Nor for me but at least the local moneysaving flashers will be looking a lil smarter than usual (by their standards)!

wots a name... only just cheap stuff with a name on it...
I can never understand why pple have to have the designer item.....

Just all made in China anyways...then when i go over I find designer stuff churned out by the maufacturers there for the REAL shop and then same stuff for the Replica shops...
    All a conn really!!

This is absolute rubbish. Take it you don't own any good quality designerwear then. I've had T-Shirts from Primark etc. and within a year they're frayed and faded whereas good quality versace ones can last at least 5 years.

Crazy comments! My wife enjoys shopping at netaporter.. buying the odd hangbag.. cheap they ain't! But the quality is certainly there. If you want your clothes/accessories to last longer than the cheaper stuff then you need to fork out a little more.

YSL's hardly a good brand to buy anymore, yes it's a high fashion house BUT it closed down and now they are always being sold in cheapy sports shops. Hardly a bargain it's old stock. Very old.

There are stores in both Bond Street and Sloane Street (London). Are you saying they don't sell clothes in there?

I know Sportsworld sell YSL polos/t-shirts etc but surely Yves Saint Laurent must sell clothing in their stores??!?

'Even so, it is not clear why Saint Laurent suddenly decided to call it a day. The charitable view is that he tired of creating timeless couture for an ungrateful world that preferred flashier ready-to-wear. A less charitable theory is that he decided to throw in the towel because he had lost. YSL is once again the hottest label in the shops — but it is Tom Ford’s YSL, not Saint Laurent’s.
Either way, Saint Laurent is not taking any chances with the couture label. After he shows his last collection on January 23, 2002, at the Pompidou Centre in Paris, the house will not go to Ford, nor will it hire another designer. It will retire with Yves Saint Laurent.' from Telegraph
