I thought it should also be noted that it says:
"Please note this item may be ex display or have been the subject of a previous sale. It has been carefully inspected by Argos and is accompanied by a full 12 month guarantee."0 -
Your Argos receipt should also still give you a 2 year guarantee with Nintendo.0

Kind of related, I was in ToysRus at the weekend and they had the GC console+ Harry Potter game+Donkey Konga+ Bongos for £59.99, a good buy too!0

Not sure if they bought the price down or if it was wrong originally, but it is actually only £34.99. Allthough talking about how long warranty you get - they do offer a 3 year replacement warrenty for £4.99 on this, totaling £39.98 covered for 3 years.
.....But who takes out warranties on something so cheap?

Decent price. I'm tempted to buy a cube for the new Zelda game, but even spending £34.99 then the price of the game seems a bit silly. I know cube has some great games..but I already have PS2 & Xbox. (Sorry, didn't mean to take this thread off topic, just having a ramble)0

To add to this, if you go into your local Gamestation store, you might see pre-owned gamecubes bundled with a game, and also the choice of a game from the "4 for £20" range for £34.99. I saw this today in my local gamestation. I was tempted, but the bundled games weren't great. The best I saw was XVII.
Still, a good price for a cube and a couple of games. I assume the bundled game WASN'T the choice of the 4 for £20 game and that you can also choose that, but I am not sure. It may just be the one game. Even so, better deal than Argos and you can walk away with it on the day.
Will the warranty be up to much?0
