They have a rather splendid office in a fine Georgian building in my town.
Bet the biscuits are proper McVities and not some cheap supermarket knock-offs.4 -
No doubt they'll be there to explain that their customers enjoy the SJP experience, which is so much more than investment performance and simply can't be quantified in vulgar financial terms.hotncold47 said:SJP on BBC Rip Off Britain this morning, I wonder why?And perhaps they'll announce that they're corporate sponsors for the next Fyre Festival, with SJP customers qualifying for an exclusive package deal that isn't available anywhere else?N. I'd rather spend 5 minutes in the company of Kim Cattrall than an entire evening with SJP.A little FIRE lights the cigar0

Just watched it on IPlayer. A fairly damning review, although I am sure it would say in their T&C's that if you want to transfer out before 6 years there is a 6% exit fee, but I guess the "agents" don't like to advertise that fact when you go with them?Even so, you would like to think that if you pay a premium for a service then you should get a premium service.....but obviously not. At least the people interviewed got some half decent compensation!!Be interesting to see how many more complaints they get on top of the current 15,000 (!!!), after this has been aired..."It's everybody's fault but mine...."1

Advertising on a C4 Walter Present series we are watching. Doesn't mention they are not independent or the high fees!0

It is a pity that the programme didn’t mention the devastating effects of being unable to encash a bond due to the indefinite property fund suspension and that no information is being given to clients of how much of the fund is being allocated to clients’s accounts as and when property is sold. Total lack of transparency.0

The suitability report or review reports should make it clear how much is allocated to the property fund. I would have thought that failure to do so is a valid complaint reason.Diana_Mackintosh said:It is a pity that the programme didn’t mention the devastating effects of being unable to encash a bond due to the indefinite property fund suspension and that no information is being given to clients of how much of the fund is being allocated to clients’s accounts as and when property is sold.
