Aci/myjar

I took this loan out a few year before they went into administration and I'm being hounded with phone calls, 6 or 7 a day. Any other advice would be really appreciated. I'm in scotland.

MYJAR Limited – in administration "MYJAR"

As you may be aware, Paul Robert Boyle, David Michael Clements and Anthony Murphy of Harrisons Business Recovery and Insolvency (London) Limited were appointed as Joint Administrators of MYJAR on 22 December 2020.

We are writing to let you know that your MYJAR loan(s) has now been legally assigned to Perch Capital Limited (“Perch Capital”). Your account has transferred to Perch Capital as at 4th February 2022. The outstanding balance that was previously due to MYJAR is now owed to Perch Capital.

Perch Capital has appointed ACI-UK Limited ("ACI") to manage collection of the outstanding loan balance on their behalf. ACI will be in contact shortly to explain how future payments should be made.

Access to your online account with MYJAR will continue for a period of time, although your ability to make payments to MYJAR is no longer available.

The Credit Reference Agency (“CRA”) records are being updated for this transfer of ownership.

Notice of Assignment
With effect from 4th February 2022, MYJAR has assigned all its respective rights, title and interest in respect of your MYJAR loan(s) to Perch Capital (company registration number 11207867).  Perch Capital has appointed ACI-UK Limited ("ACI") to manage collection of the outstanding loan balance on their behalf.

Who are Perch Capital?

Who are ACI?

What does this mean for you?
This means that all of MYJAR's rights under its loan agreement with you are transferred to Perch Capital on 4th February 2022. The outstanding loan balance that was previously due to us is now owed to Perch Capital. They will contact you regarding this in due course.

Please note that under the terms and conditions of your loan(s) agreement, MYJAR was entitled to sell your loan to a third party without your specific consent.

If your loan(s) is being repaid through a Debt Management Company (“DMC”) or an Insolvency Practitioner (“IP”), you will need to contact them directly to arrange transfer of payments to Perch Capital.

Block the phone numbers. Is it more than 5 years since you last paid anything?

As you are in Scotland, the 5 years is an important milestone. Is there a default date on your credit record?

I can't see anything as it's not on any of credit record agency's now, I was in default before they went in to administration in 2018.

I'm not sure if I made a payment plan a few years ago.

It will all hinge on whether you have paid anything in the past 5 years, if you haven't they can go away, if you have you are danger of them doing something.

They went into administration in 2020 not 2018, do you have your bank statements for going back to the start of 2020? If you do, check them for payments to Myjar. As there seems to be some chance that the loan is statute barred, the longer you can manage not to respond to Perch, the better.

I might end up having to pay it if I've set up a payment plan in the past.

It all depends on when you last paid, that's why it's important to find out when you last paid.

I've never paid anything to it as it's still the same amount as it was when I first received the first email just over 5 years ago.
