I was in Asda yesterday and all Easter products were half price, whilst these two snaps are from Sainsbury's Local

If you're after mini eggs rather than £7.75 for 380g I'd go 1kg for £7.50 at Ocado if you shop there. https://www.ocado.com/products/cadbury-mini-eggs-large-chocolate-pouch-599270011

I've just been to Tesco and there were STACKS of unsold Easter eggs. Hardly surprising they were unsold, as even at "half price", they were £3 for a bog standard medium (formerly known as small) one, and £7.50 for a large. Furthermore, on the reduced shelves at the back of the store, there were some extra large Lindor and Aero eggs with very bashed up boxes and, no doubt, bashed up contents. There were "specially reduced" to £15 and £10 respectively. What ridiculous prices, Tesco (and probably others) need to read the room and understand that we are in a cost of living crisis!
I didn't buy any eggs before Easter as they were so dear, but I'd hoped to pick up some reduced ones for the kids in the family as a late gift. No chance at that price, so they'll be getting a bar of chocolate each instead!4 -
I was in our local Tesco on Thursday and the lady behind the till said they had been told not to reduce their eggs. What a silly thing to do if true.0

In Tesco Ireland last Tuesday got a lovely very large plush rabbit: had been 23 euros reduced to E2.50! certainly a bargain- made a great non easter gift.
You can still buy from Tesco here: £11.99- just seen it online. 50cm tall.
If I hadn't been travelling that day would have gone back for a couple more when I had thought about who would like one! Too busy getting ready for a 500 mile journey.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
