National Insurance Out Of Country Gaps -Call Back

I'm really sorry if this has been covered somewhere.

I had 4 missing years of contributions and so went online to pay. I was doing a degree and then working in different countries in each of those years, which meant that I couldn't pay, I had to opt for a call back.  But I didn't take a screen shot of the call back, which I have just read you need to. I'd like to check that I am on the list for call backs and send any information that they require, but it was a long time ago so I only have rough dates and company names. I'm beginning to panic and as haven't been called yet and I really want to pay those years!  I've tried to speak to someone over the last few weeks but its impossible. I've tried several different numbers and pressed various options but got no where.  Will they definitely call me back?  Thanks

There will be a massive backlog and people like you (and you won't be the only one!) will only further clog up the system by phoning to see if you'll get phoned...

If you are sure you submitted your application and got an acknowledgement on screen, there is no reason to think you won't be called.

I got an acknowledgement on screen, but didn't complete any documentation, just clicked on the question about working abroad during these periods. I really hope they call back. Many thanks for your reply.
