I use Borrowbox from my local library - you are allowed 6 audio books at any time, including reserves. So I tend to have four books reserved ahead and a couple available now. It works very well.
. However my library audiobooks require a Wi-Fi connection ( might work with data, don’t know as I live in an area with very poor mobile signal) .
What app are you using to access your library audiobooks? Both Borrowbox and Libby (which are used by the vast majority) allow the books to be downloaded and listened to offline.
Thank you for that. It is BorrowBox that I use. Because it didn’t work I thought it was designed that way. May have been a glitch on one occasion that I presumed to be a feature!
I also pick up CDs in charity shops and either play those or put them on my MP3 and plug that in. Why MP3? Because the charge lasts for a loooong time compared to other gadgets 🙂
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
