    Budget is quite subjective

I have a lovely thick soft one from M&S, I think that was £25, but otherwise I'd try dunelm, or even a large Tesco, my local one often has them really cheap £2-7 I think from Flannels to Bath sheets. They feel soft now but no idea how well they washes

Dunelm towels are good, and hold their colours well (mind you, I wash them at 30, don't know how they cope if you're the sort that boil towels).

I buy in Asda and always wash with soda crystals instead of fabric conditioner to keep them thick and fluffy

I got my latest ones at The Towel Shop I got the 700GSM royal egyptian luxury ones.  They did shed a load of fluff on the first tumble drying session but theyve stayed thick.  They do singles and multi packs, check the prices as sometimes the singles work out slightly cheaper.

It was my second purchase from them, I got some polycotton v-shaped pillowcases the first time which have washed well multiple times.

I got this in a different design. It was only about £10 in the sales though. They’re not fluffy.
