Conditions of entry

2. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. Proof of eligibility must be provided upon request. By entering the Promotion entrants are deemed to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. To enter: 
   1. the daily £5,000 Giant Wordsearch Prize Draw, entrants will need to answer the Giant Wordsearch correctly and submit their answer by 23:59 on the day of publication of that wordsearch via: 
      • Online entry (free entry route) – Entrants can go to Mailplus.co.uk/easterpuzzles and submit their answer and contact details; or
      • Text entry – Entrants can text 65700 with the word WIN followed by their answer and full name (e.g. WIN ANSWER Sue Smith), texts cost £1 per text plus your usual network charge; or
      • Telephone entry – Entrants can call 0901 293 5200 and leave the answer, plus their full name and phone number, calls cost £1 by a premium rate phone call plus your usual network charges.
   2. the £10K jackpot Prize Draw, entrants will need to collect their answers to the daily riddles published in the Mail every day and complete the solutions grid published on Monday, April 21 and submit this by 23.59 on Friday, April 25 via: 
      • Online entry (free entry route) – Entrants can go to Mailplus.co.uk/easterpuzzles and submit their answer plus their contact details; or
      • Text entry – Entrants can text 65700 with the word WIN followed by their answer and their full name (e.g. WIN ANSWER Sue Smith) texts cost £1 per text plus your usual network charge; or
      • Phone entry – Entrants can call 0901 293 5201 and leave their answer followed by their full name and phone number, calls cost £1 by a premium rate phone call plus your usual network charges; or
      • Mail+ Editions subscribers can submit their answer on the Mailplus.co.uk app.
4. The Promotion is free to enter via Mailplus.co.uk/easterpuzzles; however, internet access is required, or Entrants can enter via SMS which costs £1 per text or via telephone which costs £1 by a premium rate phone call, plus your usual network charge.
5. You may enter the daily and jackpot competition by phone or text as many times as you wish, but only one free entry per daily and weekly game will be accepted via Mailplus.co.uk/easterpuzzles and only one entry per game.
6. The promotional activity runs from Saturday, April 19, 2025 to Monday, April 21, 2025 (the ‘’Promotion Period”).

Winner

1. There is one daily Prize Draw over 3 days in relation to the wordsearch to win £5,000 cash and there will be 1 (one) winner each day.
2. There is also one competition to win the £10,000 cash jackpot and there will be 1 (one) winner.
3. Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible correct entries, conducted by a computer process that produces verifiably random results, from all eligible entries. Daily £5k winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries held on the following working day. The weekly winner will be selected from all eligible entries held within 3 working days.
4. Daily £5k winners will be notified that they have won their prize within 2 working days of the competition closing. The £10,000 jackpot winner will be informed within 5 working days of the competition closing. The winners will be given details of how to accept their prize. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the provisional winners, but it is each winner’s responsibility to monitor their phone and / or email address (including spam folder and voicemail for receipt of the notification). Failure by the winners to accept the prize in the manner specified within 5 working days of the Promoter's contact will make any claim invalid and the Promoter will then select another winner using the same random process.
5. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable.
6. Gifts, prizes and other promotional items are not transferable, may not be re-sold and are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right in their reasonable discretion to substitute any such gift, prize or item with a gift, prize or item of equal or greater value.
7. By entering the Promotion, each entrant acknowledges that in the event of a win, their surname and county of residence may be disclosed to persons enquiring, where permitted by law. Provided no objection is received from the winners, a winners list will be made available by the Promoter 4 weeks after the end of the Promotion Period, for a period of 8 weeks.
