I want to fix a zip

My DS has somehow managed to zip the sliding part of the zip off his coat. Does anyone have a tip for getting it back on again. My DH has tried brute force but it hasnt worked!!

  • Can you prise it open with a screwdriver without breaking it? You may be able to slip it back on and, if necessary, nip it up with a pair of pliers.

I've just had a closer look and there are a couple of teeth missing about a quarter of the way up the zip. So, looks like I am going to have to try and get a replacement.
