Post default pestering to reinstate DD

Hi to all,
I had two accounts with Lendable. Both have defaulted (Confirmed on Credit Karma).
They (Lendable) are still sending me reminders, advising me that my DD is inactive and my scheduled payment is due in 5 days. They then advise that I should 'reinstate' my direct debit.
I'm not sure if this is some 'crossed wires' type thing - one department not telling another department about the default, or whether they are keeping the defaulted accounts 'in house'.
Lendable have not yet written to me to say whether they have sold the debt. Nor has anybody else to say that they have bought the debts.
Any ideas?
Thank you as always.

Here is a post today from someone that made an affordability complaint to Lendable and they upheld it, agreeing to remove all the interest: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/81404995/#Comment_81404995
