My partner also got a message 2.working.days ago, she applied.a few says after me. The message was different than mine. Her message was more of an acknowledgment she is in the call list but did not say when they will call. My guess this is to give some assurance to the people who are still waiting for the call.
"Her message also came from "DWP" as the sender and it read:
DWP have received your request to call you to discuss paying voluntary National Insurance contributions. You do not need to contact us. If you submitted your request by the 5 April 2025 deadline, you will still be able to pay voluntary National Insurance contributions."

Morning all, I have had a similar experience to most people in this thread re. payable NI gaps.
05/03 - Submitted callback form - it clearly states they will call back within 8 weeks
01/05 - Received SMS re. scheduled call the next day
02/05 - Received call, I confirmed NI and DOB - Once done, they said that an expert would call me back to discuss further - No timescales could be given. I believe the call was genuine and not a scam. I think this call was just to ensure they met the stated deadline.
I still haven't received a callback from an expert and thus no further forward with regards paying NI gaps. It would be good to know if anybody has received the second call and has successfully paid.

My Wife hasn’t had the promised 2nd call yet.
Why can’t they just put the payments needed on your personal tax account online with a link to pay? or send out a letter with a link/phone number to pay.She has one part year to fill at £95.0
