Last year I sold an expensive ring on eBay for £300. Long story short it was bought by a dealer that informed me within an hour of receiving it that it would cost £80 to resurface the white gold. Insinuating I should pay for it. I explained that there were many pictures and I was clear I had worn it for 14 years. They the. Went through eBay for a refund saying the ring was bent? In the many pictures you can see the ring was not bent. They returned a bent ring and eBay refunded them! As I was left with a damaged item I refused the refund. I messaged many times and was told this is fraud and they will take it seriously but nothing was done and I kept receiving emails. My so. Went into hospital and at the worst point of my life DRS started spamming me with calls. I explained the situation and they said they would put it on hold and I forgot all about it. Three Mo the later the emails and constant calls have started again! I’ve emailed complaints to eBay but get nowhere. Please help it’s worrying me. They now want £350!

They will soon get tired and go away, eBay debts are seldom chased for long, they are only acting for eBay, so can`t do anything, block the number and don`t worry about it.
They will go through their standard collection process and if no joy will return the debt to eBay.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
