Hey,
I have just purchased an Ektorp corner sofa (Ikea) from eBay for... wait for it... 0.99p!!! Bargain! It is structurally sound and the cushions themselves are in superb condition, however i could do with a set of new covers, i have looked on the Ikea website and found them to be over £200!! When considering i only paid 99p for the sofa itself i dont want to spend this much on replacement covers lol!
Does anyone know where i could get covers to fit Ektorp range for cheap, or have any other soultions!
I am using throws at the moment but would like covers ideally!
Thanks in advance!

Could you make new covers. If it is loose covers and you have the old ones you can unpick the old ones and use them as a pattern for the new ones. Seeing your name yorkshirepudd if you are in Yorkshire then you have lots of choice for fabrics. Fabworks Dewsbury, not open weekends, Shuttle at Shipley then on A62 from Leeds to Huddersfield there is a fabric shop. It is easier than you think to make new loose covers. I don't usually pay more than £5 metre for my upholstery fabric. I have just made new covers and have just bought a chair and footstool off ebay that I will cover in the same fabric. Mine was £5 per metre from Huddersfield and it was origionally £24 from M&S. If you do want to go to Huddersfield let me know and I will get better details from my DIL as they live nearby.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0
