P55 Tax Reclaim form online

Can anyone set my mind at rest about the fields on the P55 online form?

I've taken a single UFPLS payment for the year.

Am I meant to enter the amount on the 'UK pension income' page and then again on the 'Pension flexibility payments' page, so that it appears twice in the summary? It seems wrong to me, although I must have just gone ahead and done it in previous years.

Am I overthinking it?

Presumably you mean Q.13. The first part covers all pension income/who paid it; and the next bit specifically covers 'flexible' payments paid as lump sums.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

So in my case it's the same number twice then? Thanks for the reassurance.

Beware - the form says (my underlining):

Details of pension flexibility payments paid as lump sums

Do not include any non-taxable element of the payment

If you're still anxious (and I get the sense you might be), just add a note on the form to further clarify what you've put.
