TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Magic Radio x Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE Comp” (the “Competition”).



These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail.



1.ENTRY ROUTES AND COSTS

Entries are restricted to one entry per person.

If your call has not dialled the valid number, it will not be entered into the draw.



Entrants must enter during the Entry Periods of the competition. Any entries received outside of the Entry Periods will not be entered but may still be charged. Bauer Radio Limited is not responsible for any latency experience or technical fault by your mobile phone network, which may delay or prevent the delivery of your text message to us.

2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN



Each day the presenters of the Magic Breakfast show will invite people to call the number specified above, if they would like to try and play the ‘Magic’s holiday helper game’ live on air. All specific timings for this ‘call out’ to play the game will be provided by the presenters within the 0600 – 1000 window.



One contestant will be chosen, at random, to ‘play the game’. The presenters will invite them on air (within the Magic Breakfast show 0600 – 1000). The specific timing for this again will be provided by the presenters and/or Magic production staff when they are liaising with the contestant over how the competition will run.



Just for being the person to come and play on air, the contestant will win a Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE.



The ‘skill’ element of the promotion will run as follows, this will be to win an additional £500 to add to their prize of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE

1. Each day the Magic presenters and production team will have a definitive ‘word, name, place, activity etc’ (it could be anything) based on a daily theme. The presenters will then give the contestant one clue to try and help them work out what that ‘word, name, place, activity etc’ is.

1. In addition to the clue, the contestant will then have a further opportunity to ask Gok and Gaby up to 5 exploratory questions to try and identify the ‘word, name, place, activity etc’ that the team have come up with. The presenters are only allowed to answer ‘YES, NO, or MAYBE’ to these questions.

1. If the contestant successfully identifies the ‘word, name, place activity etc (it could be anything)’ in 5 questions or less, they will win the £500 spending money. If they do not the cash will roll over to the next day, making the prize fund £1,000.

1. If that prize fund is won the following day, the daily prize pot will re-set at £500.

1. Please note each day the cash prize is not won, it will continue to roll over, meaning the total that cash that could be won, could go over £1,000.

1. There is only £2,500 cash available in total. There will never be any more money than that awarded and as per the rules above, the increments on how this is given out will vary according to how successful each contestant is.

The contestant will only be deemed a winner, upon being selected and told by the presenter and the Magic Radio production team that they are a winner.



Please note that the Magic production team reserve the right to amend the competition mechanic at any point should they deem it necessary. The judge’s decision (the judge’s being the Magic production team) is final and at any point they are free to not award a prize should they deem it necessary.



There may be points within the process that the Magic production pre record elements of the competition and play it out ‘as live’.

There will be 5 winners in total of the on air competition, Monday and then each day through to Friday.



THE ONLINE COMPETITION:

At entry, you will need to complete your details which will then go into the draw. All valid entries will be pooled together, and a winner will be chosen by electronic random draw at the close of the competition period.



If the contestant wins a prize and it is subsequently discovered that they do not fulfil these specific terms and conditions, nor the general competitions terms and condition, they will be disqualified. 3. ENTRY PERIOD

Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:



On Air: Monday 14th April 2025 and then every day up to and including Friday 18th April 2025. Each daily competition round will take place between 0600 – 1000 at an exact time specified by the presenters.

Online: From [12th April 2025 at 00:01] (the “Start Time”) to 31st May 20205 at 11:59 (“End Time”).

Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.





4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS

· Open to UK residents aged [18] years or over on date of entry.

· Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.

· We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it, in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.

5. THE PRIZE

5 x on air winners (one each day Monday through to Friday) will receive the following prize (the “Prize”):



1 x Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE + the potential for £500 or more depending on the rolling prize fund should the contestant succeed in that element of the competition. There is also the chance that they do not succeed in the ‘cash prize’ element of the competition and they only win the 1 x Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE



1 x online winner will receive

Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered

This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you have submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.



3. MISCELLANEOUS.

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.
• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.
• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.
• Whilst on-air, you must not make any inappropriate, profane, indecent, harmful or offensive statements. If you do so we reserve the right to take you off-air immediately and disqualify you from the competition. You may be also disqualified from the competition at any time if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners. Any prize already won may be withdrawn and re-awarded to another entrant.
• As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition or any element of the Prize.

We may cancel, end or suspend the Competition where we are required to do so in circumstances outside our control. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any stage during the Competition if such amendment is necessary to facilitate the administration of the Competition.
