Morning everyone and 'thank you' for starting us off Gers.
It's a lovely morning here and I'm off out with friends today.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. xx10 -
The fabulous weather is leaving us today, already it's not as warm as earlier in the week. Lovely whilst it lasted.Yesterday I made good time down to Glasgow for my dental appointments. Check up and then hygienist. When all that was done I did a little shopping and then headed straight home. I was back by 1.00p.m.This morning I'm doing a whizz up to Oban, unfortunately, for one thing I really need, I'll visit friends on the way back but not for long. They've asked me to bring papers down for them so it'll be a hand in, quick chat chat chat and then away.Whatever you're all doing today I hope it goes well. Take care all.10

Morning everyone thanks for start Gers I’ve got bedding on the line I need to pop out for some bread in a minute then I’m going to give my kitchen a good clean . Thanks for all your good wishes yesterday I really enjoyed the charity shop the girls were nice it was none stop chatting and we had a good laugh and I don’t know if it’s good or bad but one of the ladies I work with bakes every week and brings us something in yesterday it was fruit scones with jam it would of been rude to refuse they were delicious the only thing was I was absolutely shattered by the time we finished I had unloaded the van for the food waste and packed all the bags then quickly got changed and went up there but I will get used to it and it’s only one day a week I had ankles like puddings last night but it’s easy going there and I got a couple of cuppas and you can have a sit down when you want I’m pleased I bit the bullet and went because I was a nervous wreck and a few times I nearly backed out oops and a lovely necklace fell in my bag for 50 pence . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing10

Morning all, thanks @Gers for starting us off. Lovely weather again today, highs of 20 deg and little, if any, breeze. Yesterday was better than some days we have in summer but sadly it's all change tomorrow.
Yesterday's tasks all done, including washing my winter coat. The documents for my funeral arrangements arrived and have been filed away so that's another job done and dusted. I did go out for a walk (more of a gentle stroll) and deposited a couple of tins of stuff in the SM food bank box. These were things I'd bought to tempt DH's appetite but didn't get used and they're not to my taste so I thought they may as well benefit someone else. I had a mooch while I was there and bought a few items as I don't think I'll have time for my normal top up shop on Tuesday. The gas boiler service engineer will be here that day and the poor chap will need room to work in the pantry where the boiler is fitted. That means everything needs to come out but at least it gives me chance to clean the shelves and check dates before it all goes back in again.
DS is coming later this morning and the plan is to take the accumulated bags and boxes of unwanted stuff to the CS. It will be good to have a clear space under the stairs again! Other than that, I'll be outside enjoying the sun. No idea about tea tonight, probably something quick, easy and light.
@Izzy - Good to hear your CS stint went well yesterday.
Enjoy your day - and the sun if you have it. Take care, hugs if needed or wanted. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.11 -
Morning folks and thanks GERS. Where is everybody this morning? Hopefully outside enjoying the last sunny day before it's all change tomorrow. It's been lovely sitting out reading and sunning myself this last week. DD and youngest DGD went to the caravan on Thursday and they have had the sun beds out. Unheard of so early in the season before. Last year they barely got used at all thanks to the rubbish summer we had.
I did a stocktake of grocery supplies yesterday and have added a few tins/packets to my list for tomorrow's SS. Stocks of some items have dwindled without me even realising.as they had got so disorganised. All tidy again for now!
No fixed plans for today other than making the best of the weather before it leaves us. I have the towels and bath mats on their last spin and they will go out shortly. Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for all in need of them. Take care all, stay safe xx

Morning all, the sun is out but it's going to cloud over later, boo hoo 😥. I'm pleased that the garden is looking much tidier and I was able to do some of it myself, last year was I failed completely because of my health. DGS will be upset though as he had taken over the mowing for a price 🤣, but there's still plenty of jobs he can do to make some money.
Last night I had a panicked late night phone call from Dad because he'd lost his mobile phone which he likes to take up to bed for emergencies. Thankfully we both still have land lines so I was able to keep ringing him until he found it. I had to tell him to turn his TV down and his hearing aid up as he couldn't hear it ringing while I could hear it over the phone. His crisis was averted and Mr Fix It who had already gone to bed slept through it all !
This morning I have a sm delivery arriving and there are a couple of subs and OOS, I'm sure we can get along without some stuff as I always buy extras. I also have a delivery of coffee coming, it was on offer so I've doubled my order.
Later I need to start some cleaning/tidying upstairs and sort out the spare bedroom ready for the DGC who are coming to stay on Monday.
Izzy glad you enjoyed yourself at the cs. Take it easy today and put your feet up.
Snoozer my fingers are crossed that your DD can make a success of her business in Bristol too. 🧡
Right delivery has arrived so I must go.
Hugs to all

Morning all
Bright and sunny here again I think ours is meant to be good till Wednesday and then we get rain, dentist went well yesterday I was in and out within 10 minutes I had taken mum with me and she sat in the car while I was in the dentist and then we went to M&S so she did a bit of shopping I dropped her off and took her shopping in for her it’s nice to know she has some fresh food for the weekend.
We ended up going to the pub yesterday evening for drinks and dinner which was very nice so we will have the salmon for dinner tonight, I think dd may be going out to see her friend so I’m not sure she is eating with us or not the food won’t go to waste as OH will probably eat it and if not the dogs can have a treat.
We had sat outside at the pub but when the sun went down it got colder and colder we were freezing by the time we got home so we lit the fire and had a cosy evening.
Im going to do a bit of gardening today and just get everything ready for planting, a lot of the pots are done so it won’t take long, I might go and get a few plants to fill the gaps.
Might try and sit in the garden for dinner tonight it depends how cold it is.
Have good days all and take care xx

Hello everyone
I've been down to mam and dads this morning to have a cuppa and do the banking, then got the bus into town to collect a prescription. Had a look in a couple of charity shops, I got a nice pair of navy sandals for £6, Joseph Siebel ones so they would have been expensive new. I need to sort some holiday things this afternoon, then I'll sit outside in the sunshine and read or potter for the rest of the day.
DD and little one are staying at a glamping site just round the corner from Beamish museum, so they're spending the day there...it looks lovely and has a little play park, so little one made a friend and played there yesterday afternoon.
As I was going to miss having her last night DD asked if I wanted to have her Thursday night instead - her alarm went off 3 times during the night! Last night I was falling asleep on the sofa before 9pm. I accompanied her to her Easter crafts morning at school, then we had an Easter egg hunt, which the nursery children joined in with too. Then she went into school and I went into nursery, but she appeared at the window after lunch to tell me her tooth had fallen out while she was eating...great excitement!
Right best get on. Hope everyone has a good day x9
