Free learning games for secondary school age children

Options
Found mention of www.what2learn.com tucked away inside another post and thought I'd make more mention of it. It is giving away free accounts to access over 1,200 learning games for secondary school pupils.

My daughter has GCSE Science exams when she goes back to school in a couple of weeks and she thinks that this website is going to really help her. It records all of her scores so she can she what she has done well and what she needs to work on. There are lots of subjects as well as the Science.

If you go to the website you can get an account instantly.

  • Thank you! My daughter is still in Year 8 but is in the top set in all key subjects and frequently complains of being bored & not challenged enough! I've sent her this link so hopefully she'll find something to keep her amused!

  • If you get a blank page, just pressing the 'refresh' button on your browser always makes the page load.

This website is also really helpful for revision of Maths and Science

    www.skoool.co.uk.

Not games but short video clips with little interactive activities.

Thanks for the first site, one to pass onto my students :)

My daughter too has a Science exam next week...Biology. Many of the kids today seem to hate science??? I loved it, when I was at school.
She also has maths exam too......... thankfully she loves maths and has no worries over that one.
  • Great timing :T - the exam is in four days time! I am a Science teacher and have just had accounts for my students made. Usually schools pay a fortune for things that turn out to be rubbish, so to get something great like this for FREE is fantastic.
  • Thank you...will pass this on to others. :)
