Switching USS funds
Options

I have a USS pension and would like to switch one of my Investment Builder funds into the Liquidity fund (at some good moment in the stock markets) in the next 12 months (there doesn't seem to be an option for switching into cash).
I couldn't find any information about when/how funds are switched. For example if I carry out a switch before 10am on a Wednesday is the switch carried out later on Wednesday, using the pricing of the funds the day before? Does USS have a cutoff time?
The USS funds don't have an ISIN number and no daily 'unit' price is published (why not?). I assume this is because most USS funds are fund of funds and some of the underlying funds don't have an ISIN because they are not collective pooled funds, for example, the LGIM Climate Tilted Global Developed Markets Equity fund, which comprises 90% of the USS Global Equity Fund. Is there an easy way to see the price movement of USS funds over recent periods of time, e.g. last day, week, month?
Thanks in advance.

The pension funds' price details can be found here :https://www.uss.co.uk/my-uss/investment-builder/fund-information, looking in the "Fund Performance" section. As I recall, switching funds isn't akin to the heady world of online trading but involves adjusting fund investment percentages etc on the Invesment Builder's "Manage Investments" section. The change then taking place over the following few days.
I further recall, the Liquidity fund just runs in line with the BoE rate and can be viewed as cash in may ways - though you best decide for yourself if it's what you are looking for.

Yes I looked into doing this and its a bit of a nightmare because the transfer to the liquidity fund does not appear to happen immediately, so you may think you are switching at a good time only for one politician or another to make a decision that causes stock to plummet just as your funds are transferred. I would love for someone more knowledgable to chip in with timeframes for switching ect.
I have come to the conclusion that I am probably better off currently letting USS manage the investment portion of my pension in the hope that their investment team are better equipped to make sensible decisions on my behalf than I am..fingers crossed1 -
Just as it's a quite day, I had a look back at my switches.I transferred my investment builder holdings to the Liquidity fund from one of the equity funds in three chunkes (tranches, if you like) to try and limit any big swings etc. Each switch seems to have taken three working days from me updating the system to the transfer being completed. The prices used were those on the last/completion date.So it was a bit of a leap of faith - but things perhaps seemed more settled then for some reason. That was at the end of 2023 - things move on sometimes.

Many thanks for the link and sharing your experience of switching.

Yes, 3 days was my experience at the end of last year (100% Global equities into liquidity). I like the idea of doing it in tranches, however I recall that you could not start another transfer until the previous one was complete (so every 3 to 4 days).
