Cheers folks, have also found a seller on ebay selling Kingston 256mb cards for £16.64 incl postage which sounds a bargain, anyone agree??

I needed to buy one of these SD cards for the first time last week, so had a look around. The difficulty appears to be whether there is any difference between branded or non-branded, and whether there is any 'speed' difference between the cards.

Ended up buying a 1Gb Ultra 66 card from microdirect for £48.41 delivered.

    Cheers,
    Don

I need an SD card too and currently intend to buy a 512Mb high speed one from Ebuyer for around £24 inc VAT and P&P.

Mymemory did do a kingston 512MB one for £17.99 a while back, looks like that offers gone, but they still have an own brand one for that price.... Delivery's quite expensive at £3.95 though....

    have you tried https://www.fotosense.co.uk ?
my dad goes through xd cards like nobodys business and they are v cheap, 512mb xd card (fuji as well i think) £40!!!!!
i know they are a different format but they probably have sd cards cheap
also heard a rumour that jessop's pricematch online prices (might get you something branded cheap?)

ahem, just been on, they are asking £35 for a sandisk 512mb sd card.
they are everywhere (one of the better cards?) and if you can find someone locally who will pricematch online retailers it will save you p and p as well :j
things arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then ;)
BH is my best mate too, its ok :)
