Quick tip
I recently purchased Apple Airpods Pro 2 from Amazon at £229 and noticed that they are on offer today fo £189.
My Airpods are within the Amazon return period and so I caontacted Amazon customer service and informed them that I would like a refund of the £40 or would send tha Airpods back and order ones at £189 and they gave ma a gift card for the £40, so good result for me.
Worth giving a try if you notice that anything you have bought from Amazon has had a big price drop, hope this helps.

I recieved a message from Amazon completely out of the blue informing me that the price of something I purchased in December had reduced in price in January, and as such they were providing me with an automatic refund of the price difference to my account, which they did.
I didn't even contact them to do this, and I would never have thought to have done so either because the item in question was a chocolate advent calendar!

• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.4 -
Just as well as the prices are only going to go one way now, and that is up!vacheron said:I recieved a message from Amazon completely out of the blue informing me that the price of something I purchased in December had reduced in price in January, and as such they were providing me with an automatic refund of the price difference to my account, which they did.

True, and if you are in the US, your luxury Swiss chocolate advent calendar will be 31% more expensive this year.Rosa_Damascena said:

Then again, they can always enjoy their "American made", tariff free, Hersheys advent calendar, complete with its butyric acid which is added deliberately to make it taste like vomit. (and no, that is not a joke!)
Merry Christmas!

It does - and this appears to be a commonly-held view on this side of the pond (Tim Harford / R4s More or Less agrees).vacheron said:
