Your Income Tax has not been calculated yet for 6 April 2023 to 5 April 2024

Just wondering if anyone else has this message on their tax account

In reality my 2023/2024 tax has been finalised. I received an incorrect P800 in January that said that HMRC owed me about £3,500. This was incorrect I was owed only about £100 ish. Eventually this and some other issues with savings interest were sorted out after I raised a complaint and I was refunded the £100 overpaid tax owed to me. But I've never received a corrected P800 showing the £100 refund.

So just wondering if anyone else still has this 2023/2024 tax not yet calculated message on their account?

My P800 was issued on 8 March, so I’m not seeing this message. However in Communications I have a Form relevant to 2023/24 that is stuck on ‘Received’, and that’s now long past the expected response date. I just assumed there was some kind of sampling/checking process that leaves a few tax accounts open. I'm not expecting further refunds.

There was a thread a couple of days ago, where people were getting similar messages. One had contacted HMRC and they said there was an IT glitch they were sorting out.

Mine is same, submitted on Monday 7th, but I think it has always taken about 4 days to show.

Tax for April 24 to April 25 will not be calculated or finalised for many months

Pretty sure that isn't relevant to Self Assessment returns.

We’re talking about PAYE for 2023/24 - so slow last year (though I understand why)
