in Cutting tax
Hi,
I left my old employer June 2024 and received my final pay in July 2024 from them along with my P45.
I left my old employer June 2024 and received my final pay in July 2024 from them along with my P45.
However, upon recently looking through my HMRC app, I noticed that in October 2024, they processed a negative payment to HMRC. I had no knowledge of this and no idea of what, if any, implications of that were. Is this normal as well to do something like this, 3 months after my final pay?

Or is the end result a negative?0 -
Just to give this one an ending....basically my old employer said they had to correct the tax paid to HMRC.....I'm still suspicious about it but I don't seem to have lost any money.1
