State Pension

My wife and I are both claiming state pension, I have 49 qualifying years but only need 35 years to get full pension. My wife has 27 qualifying years which makes hers short of 8 years to get the full amount, can I have 8 years from my 14 extra years transferred to my wife's pension.

    No, qualifying years are personal.

35 years is also irrelevant and only applies definitively to those that are accruing all their years post 2016.

I've just started receiving my SP and needed 48 years due to being contracted out most of my working life.

The 35 years only applies to those born this century.  You need to check her actual record.  If she is now of pensionable age has she been notified ot the amount.
