How do you rate your bank's app?

Poll started 8 April 2025
If you access your current account through your bank's app, please rate it. Only rate the app and its features, not the bank overall. If you have more than one current account, please rate ALL the apps you use (though don't rate a bank's app if you only have it for savings, a credit card, a mortgage or anything else).

Can't figure why first direct app has so good ratings.
Can't change name of payee accounts, only by re-adding them, which is particularly a pain because the app does not accept paste in, you have to type in the details, which is more risky (putting in wrong digit).
Does not let copy either, so putting details in another app is equally risky.
The insight is rubbish, mis-categorising wildly all the time, and even when you correct it, it does it again the next time.
The Chase app is much better (though categoies not perfect either)

HSBC app I give a good rating to. It shows the balance until the next month including any payments pending in the account balance too. Ive also found it easy to set up SO's etc. Its easy to make one off payments to third parties tooCurrent debt approximately 5000
Goal- Zero debt by mid 2025
Savings in 2026- an emergency fund of 50000 -
The reason I ranked Lloyds' App as poor, is because the current version is much less user friendly and succinct than the previous iteration. I don't want to have to drill down 3 levels before I can get to see or do what I want to do. This version is quite inefficient.

It ain’t what you do, it’s the way that you do it - that’s what gets results!

I rarely use apps and never for banking. The increasing use of apps makes life more difficult for people like me.0
