Cheers OP just managed to reserve 1 @ Aberdeen Trinity Centre for collection between 2morrow and Monday!:D My dad will be well chuffed,i might even lay it away for father's day;) I see an earlier post saying the replacement blades for the saw are quite steep!!:(Does anyone have any idea how long the blades on the saw would last if just using it for light DIY jobs in the house ie:Shelves and the like?? Any help would be appreciated th best DIY i can do is a wee bit of painting:o
Cheers Lynne x
this saw is not really for shelves things like that you would need something more like a jigsaw.this is more like an electric version of a large handsaw for cutting things like batterns, joists, fence posts, large 2x4.more building work than diy0 -

Picked one of these up in Stirling yesterday.
Glad to see this on the main Grabbit board. I would never have noticed this on the Argos section as I don't read it. Great post.0 -
So it's ideal for me then as I've got some fence posts & pallets to cut up, as well as a staircase to sand down. :jthis saw is not really for shelves things like that you would need something more like a jigsaw.this is more like an electric version of a large handsaw for cutting things like batterns, joists, fence posts, large 2x4.more building work than diy
I've just picked up what may have been the last one from the Kilburn store, & other branches not too far from there (Cricklewood, Hammersmith, Camden, Marble Arch & Wembley) appear to be out of stock. However, I have a spare reservation for Swiss Cottage which I'm happy to pass on to anyone wanting it - just send me a PM for it. The reservation expires at the end of Monday 7 Jan.

The mouse is definitely in the box. That was the first thing I checked when I collected mine today, & it also shows on the outside of the box (standard Black & Decker black & tangerine colours)Willy_Eckerslyke wrote: »Have located and reserved one at Bangor Argos. The automaton "speaking" on the Argos sit just states that it is a saw with no mention of the mouse but does quote to code number as shown
Thanks for the info.
