    Are you sure Skipton said “no” to that element of the mortgage or could it be something else?

    Such as the affordability for new property - are you downsizing to pay off the debts or increase LTV to include it?

    Are you up to date with your payments to Skipton and have you always been?

    You state your husband’s credit history is fine, is yours?
