Hi,
I am suspicious but I just need confirmation. I have been applying online for a loan, but due to my poor credit history I have been rejected. However, I am being called on a daily basis from a mobile number from a company called Quick Money. They sound like they are working in an Indian Centre. They claim there website is under construction and that they are FCA registered, but when I asked for those details they refused. Obviously I hung-up but I just wanted to check its scam, as I am still looking for a loan.
kind Regards

A quick check of the FCA register suggests there are currently no registered companies operating using the name "Quick Money".

Scammers are getting very clever these days, if it looks like a scam, sounds like a scam, and smells like a scam, then it probably is a scam.
Best to leave well alone.

I have to agree with the previous posters, it's a scam. Quite apart from anything else, no legitimate lender will cold-call you offering loans. Yes, they may very well send out marketing letters, emails, maybe even text messages, which you can choose to either read or ignore. And as TB says, it's very easy to check whether a company is registered with the FCA. If they're not registered, don't go anywhere near them. Even if they're operating legitimately in a different country, if they're not FCA registered then the best thing is to get hold of a bargepole to not touch them with.0

You probably did a loan search on a dodgy website rather than something like MSE and signed up for these calls inadvertently. Block the number, move on
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
