N*XT cca request reply

Options
Hi all,
I've sent off CCA requests to our creditors with £1 postal orders.
I've had my 1st reply from NE*T today which says that they no longer accept postal orders, sorry to disappoint and that payments can be made by DD, online etc.

Not sure how to proceed..does this mean  they will still look for the CCA or do i need to now.look at paying a different way?

Thanks for any advice

I would argue that you have complied with the Act and, as yet, they haven't.

Thankyou Fatbelly, not sure whether to wait for them to send the cca or if they are just running rings around me as  cant find it or if I should send a cheque but I'll sit tight and see if they end up sending it thankyou

NEVER send a cheque.  That gives them a specimen of your signature, which less than honest companies have copied in the past to use on fake documents.  You have done what the law requires you to do by making the £1 payment. They have to make the next move. Sit and wait.

There is no requirement for a signature on a copy of a credit agreement, so it can be valid with or without one.

I realise that, but other items like mysterious paying in slips, letters acknowledging debts, etc, have been known to appear out of the blue after a cheque or something else bearing a signature has been received.
