Problem with registering manage my state pension
fly-catchers
I got a recent invitation to register with them. You need two proofs of ID. So I used my ID driving license and the credit check option. On the credit check it asked how long since you set up a bank account and a few other details which I gave them. It also showed a list of addresses and you have to select any that are relevant to you. But none of the streets shown have relevant to me whatsoever. So I clicked none. After going through this process it ended saying that they couldn’t confirm my details and I must have given wrong information. I know i didn’t do not sure what more i could give them! Anyone else had issues or success with registering?

I registered OK - it isn't very exciting when you get there, just a page that tells you how much state pension you are getting (which you know anyway)0

Although it does make it easier to report any changes to your circumstances. (Such as as address and bank details)Flugelhorn said:I registered OK - it isn't very exciting when you get there, just a page that tells you how much state pension you are getting (which you know anyway)0 -
Plus you can change your payment frequency if so desired.[Deleted User] said:

Tried again but it still suggests the information I have given them is incorrect! On the credit check part it displays several road names but none apply to me. Though one is just around the corner from me! I don’t have a passport so I can’t use that as the second option to my driving license. As I have a Government Gateway access why can’t the Government just use that rather than several access point’s needed!0

Do you have to be invited by DWP? I tried to register and it told me I’m not allowed to.Cheers
