Missing the Callback from The Future Pension Centre regarding NI gaps?

Options
I am worried that I may miss my callback from the Future Pension Centre to discuss gaps in my NI. I cannot have my phone with me at work.  Does anyone know or had experience of them phoning back if they can't get hold of hold of you?

If you cant have your phone in work I would suggest not opting for a call back then, you will have to suffer on the phone line with the wait.

I can see loads of people not being able to take the call for all sorts of reasons.
They could be in the shower, in a no reception area, driving, at work, asleep, dead battery etc etc.
Surely The Future Pension Service will leave a message saying what to do next if their call is unsuccessful? :/

Absolutely! They chose to deal with the backlog of telephone enquiries in this way, so if you successfully made your online callback request and received immediate online confirmation of "Request Sent", then you are excused the VC 5th April 2025 payment deadline until they have heard your Future Pensions Voluntary Contribution enquiry and fairly dealt with it to your satisfaction, not theirs.

Furthermore, if we each would like to recheck our NI record showing those older missing years and prices for voluntary contribution payments, it seems as of now, the deadline for payment published in our Government Gateway personal records is stated as 5th May 2025 and seems to be moving forward a day every day!

I registered for a callback within the deadline, got a text on 16 April saying DWP would phone on 17 April. No call received. Got a call on 22 April from a lady who stated she could not help and someone would phone me back, she was just taking details. No call yet....

@faha_clare - they keep close tabs on us once we've ever tied a knot.  Both marriage and divorce dates are typical security questions before they discuss nitty-gritty stuff, so both files (with contact details) might be forever linked!
