Tax numpty question

phew. had just persuaded DH that he didn't need to let them know as he wasn't getting over 10K - he did write to them last year and I think it caused confusion - not least that they decided to halve it thinking it was joint account when he had already halved the sum...DullGreyGuy said:

Back again even more confused.
Letter dated 26 March to tell me I paid too little tax in the year 6.4.23 - 5.4.24 and I owe x amount.
Online account is telling me I paid the right amount for that year and there is nothing more to pay?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Can you tell from your own figures which is right?elsien said:Back again even more confused.

Not a scooby. Although to be fair today has been a bit hectic so I’ve not sat down and had a thorough look at it.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
