Following the guidance on the first page of this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6584331/hmrc-over-estimate-of-untaxed-interest/p1 I have attempted to update my untaxed interest figure for 2024/5.
In my Personal Tax Account I've gone to Pay As You Earn then Check Current Tax Year. On that page I scroll down and click on Add missing investment income. At that point I get a message:

Sorry, the form is unavailable

This form has been closed. You can no longer access any saved drafts.

Does anyone know why this might have happened? Will it perhaps reopen once we get into the new tax year so that 2024/5 becomes a previous tax year?

I suspect you are correct and it is connected to the change of tax year.

Anything you submit now (for 2024-25) is pointless really as a new tax code won't be issued and HMRC will want the actual information from the banks before finalising 2024-25.

Assuming you would also want it update 2025-26 then I would try again next week.

I will try again next week and report back.
The slightly odd thing is that one day before I was able to start a form for Other income before I checked the earlier thread and realised that wasn't the right one for interest (I've since deleted that form).
