@Hodgepodge - I've only just started using the mini size of the sensitive aftershow cleanser and it's ok but I think I need something with acids in it to really help keep my skin clear.  Which sounds ridiculous because I know it's a product that you wash off but the original aftershow was just so good at that.

@VALM I've started using the NYX Epic Ink liner and so far, it's just as good as the UD Perversion liner I was using but with a thinner brush so I feel like I'm getting a more subtle look with my liner, even when I mess it up a bit!

Have had a flurry of other UU's

    M&S Velvet Amber mini perfume
    - came out of the advent calendar, was ok, WNBA.  On to my Floral Street travel sizes now.

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Oil mini -
was a mini I used on holiday, have the full size, love it

H20 Sea Salt Shampoo and Conditioner -
got these from when we last stayed at Disney World so they were a little old but did the job

Sensodyne Rapid Relief mini toothpaste -
    another mini from traveling

B by Superdrug Melting Cleansing Balm mini -
another mini from traveling, wouldn't buy the full size as it was a little too waxy for me in texture and scent.

Color Wow Color Security Shampoo & Conditioner -
got these in the M&S advent calendar and they kind of ruined my non-coloured hair.  Not even kidding, the colour looked different after one wash and they irritated the hell out of my scalp.  So used up as body wash and shaving lotion instead.

JSS The Matinee Gel Cleanser -
this also started irritating my skin right at the end.  Think I don't like salicylic acid in my skincare.  WNBA, using up a mini of the Aftershow for sensitive skin but think that's not reaching HG status anytime soon either

    Max Factor Eyeshadow Single -
WBA, use this in honeylove everyday as a base for the other shadows.  Need to repurchase at the weekend, using my face powder instead as a stop gap but it isn't the same.

    Wild Deodorant -
everyday deodorant, WBA, replaced with another refill

ELF Power Grip Primer + Niacinamide -
HG, currently using up a sample of the poreless putty primer but have another one of these ready to go.

Bare Minerals Mini Mineral Veil -
no idea where this came from but it did a good job.  Again used while I was traveling as it's such a small size.  Have gone back to the Laura Mercier loose translucent setting powder instead.

    UU

    • Maybelline Express Brow Fast sculp mascara- Clear: I liked this. My brows aren't super thick so I didn’t need anything stronger than this.  I got this as a GWP, but I'd buy.
    • Vaseline Lip Therapy tin- Gold Dust: from my PP list!  I have no idea how old this is….. But it's used up!  Was nice, had a bit of shimmer in it, not enough to be super noticeable but gives a nice sheen.

And I do have some INs- all of them replacements as they're running low:
    • Garnier Micellar Water Oil Infused Facial Cleanser 400ml
    • Boots Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover 200ml
    • L’Oréal Paris Elvive Bond Repair Conditioner 150ml
    • Sanex Zero% Gentle Moisture Shower Gel for Sensitive Skin 450ml

And I hit a pan in my Catrice- Space Glam mini eyeshadow in 010 Moonlight Glow (a white glowy duochrome)- I use under the brow.

25 for 2025 PP list: 3 down, 22 to go!
    1. DERMATORY - Hypoallergenic Cica Gel Cream 50ml: carried over from last years PP.
    2. MAC Black Cherry Glow Play Lipbalm:  carried over from last years PP list.  Bought in 2021.... need to finish it!
    3. Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Body Oil 200 ml: had this a while. I’ve figured out the best way to use it now- mixed in with some moisturiser makes it less greasy.
    4. Klairs Supple Preparation Toner: accidentally bought the fragranced one last year, want to get this used up on my body.
    5. Redken 11 Thermal Spray: heat and hold spray. Don’t like it, too thick/heavy for my hair- want it gone so I can get a lighter heat protectant spray.
    6. Lilylolo mineral blush in Beach Babe
    7. iUNIK Vitamin Hyaluronic Acid Vitalizing Toner: don’t love this, too thick for a toner, would like it gone so I can go back to one I love.
    8. 17. Gorgeous Gloss- yellow: like this, but the soft brown is my fave. Not heaps left, I could finish it this year!
    9. Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner- mini 30ml size: like this from pre-skin issue days, so want to try the sample to see how I like it now.
    10. Skin1004 Centella Toning Toner – mini 30ml: has very mild form of AHA exfoliants. Want to see how my skin does with this as I’d like an AHA in my routine but am very wary of going OTT and destroying my skin.  If I put it on this list, I will have to try it- currently a bit scared still about introducing new products.
    11. One loose eyeshadow: unspecified: but I want to finish one this year.
    12. One nail polish: ditto.
    13. The Body Shop British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask
    14. Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter liner in Distortion: iridescent glitter liner, bought in 2021…. Still using it but really shouldn’t.  Sadly they don’t seem to make these colours anymore so I’ll be sad once they’re gone.
    15. Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter liner in Grind: the pinky one.
    16. The Body Shop Festive Berry hand cream
    17. Mad About Skincare Gentle Jelly Cleanser: putting this on the list cos I am being FAR too lazy and using micellar too frequently instead of actually washing my face. I have one back up of this in my stash so I don’t mind finishing my current one either as I won’t need to replace it.
    18. Aveeno Dermexa Daily Emollient Cream – 500ml: want to be better at moisturising!
    19. Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Body Booster Mousse – 50ml travel size: don’t really use this, would like it gone. Or at least used frequently enough that I can see whether I like it.
    20. Collection Glam Crystals  Lip Rocker lipgloss: bit too frosty rather than sparkly, so don’t love this.
    21. Revolution Colour Correct & Fix Primer- Green: I don’t think this does ANYTHING, so I would like it gone.
    22. Essie Apricot nail and cuticle oil: would like to try different oil for nails, so got to get this one used up!

    UUs from PP List
NEOGEN - Dermalogy White Truffle Serum In Oil Drop
Tigi Bedhead Motor Mouth- mega volumizer with gloss
    Vaseline Lip Therapy- Gold Dust

It's slow going with my list this year!!

Oh, I forgot to say- I won a nail polish giveaway on Youtube!  I won 4 mainstream polishes and they arrived this week, so I have 4 new polishes come in.  As they were a competition win, I'm not counting them against any of my allowances for the year as I didn't buy them.  And I didn't get to pick what I received, it as random.

    • Zoya- Emerson: super light blue almost dove greyish colour creme polish.
    • Essie Gel Couture- Fairy Tailer:  sheer nude pink.  I might give this one away as it's not my bag, but haven't decided yet.
    • Essie Special Effects in Divine Dimension: iridescent blue flakey topper, very pretty!  My favourite.
Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Strengthener: not a polish, but still useful.

I was hoping for something more colourful, but even so was very exciting to win, and the topper and blue/grey creme are very pretty!

Thanks @rubyeskimo for the eyeliner recommendation.

    2 OUTS

UU Lacura vitamin c cleanser - loved this though it made my skin a little dry. Was fine once i applied toner. Have another in stash.

TA MAC Glow lip balm. Became gritty. Was not a fan anyway.

Only 4 days left this month. Am working on getting the uses done on the makeup items in my PP List.

    A few more UUs:

    • Ouai Detox Shampoo 89ml Travel size: Like this for a good deep clean.  When I get paid again, will buy another- it has to wait till then, this is NOT cheap!!
    • Garnier Micellar Water Oil Infused Facial Cleanser For Waterproof Makeup 400ml: bought the replacement for this on the 25th.
    • Bondi Sands Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50+ Fragrance Free 150ml: From last year, opened, used within 12 months so all good, but wanted to use it before it got too sunny.  Got another in the stash that although was from last year, it was unopened, so it should be ok, right?  Google says 2-3 years unopened, so it should still be good since it was bought last May.

    IN

    • L’Oréal Paris Infallible 32H Fresh Wear long-lasting liquid foundation shade 20: Used my Boots points to get this so no money spent (girl math). Replacement, current one looks low.

I think I'll have maybe two more items done before the months finished.  Was quite a month for INs in the end, but will save tallies for a day or so, once I know if I'll be finishing anything else!

    Final UU's for the month:

    • DR. CEURACLE Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence: My second one of these I've finished, I love it!  Extra hydration and antioxidants. I use it after serums, before moisturiser, because is is a bit creamy and has some oils in.  I have a mini Mary & May Blackberry Complex Cream Essence to use up first, but will be repurchasing this once I get paid.
    • The Body Shop Hemp Hard-Working Hand Protector (100ml): Joint effort this one, me n the hubbie.  It's thick and a bit greasy but sometimes when your hands are suffering it just needs to be slathered in this!  Will repurchase this, as sometimes you just need a super thick hand cream!
And I hit a pan in my Beauty May Earthy 9 pan eyeshadow palette, in shade Ray- description on website says Green/yellow duochrome, buuuuut it's basically a gold with a tiny green sheen. I use it on inner corner.

    Month tallies
    • INS:  15 - spend of £101.64 - eeek! Double my aim of £50 a month, however when I add up the 4 months total it's £207.64 so I'm overall on target due to underspends in previous months.
    • OUT: 14 -  ooooh so close to breaking even!
    • Balance:  1 additional product to my stash.

On a plus side, I was DYING to buy some Bella Beaute Bar single eyeshadows this month, and they are EXPENSIVE, but I resisted- well done me!  I can't say how long I will resist for, but I had them in my cart and kept going back n forwards, umming n ahhing and I didn't buy them this month.  My makeup routine since we got the dog has been much more paired back, am lucky if I get to put any eyeshadow on at all tbh, so it's ABSOLUTELY CRAZY to buy more eyeshadow when I have, ooh, 29 palettes according to my last inventory!!!  All the shades I wanted would have been one and done special sparkly shadows so would get a lot of use and would look pretty fancy with absolutely minimal effort on my part.  Hmmmm, we'll see.  Don't think I can really justify it right now, esp when I've just ordered a load of plants for the garden and all our money is generally going on the dog!
    :D

Final count for April was 16 out and 3 in, which is really good for me.

My stash is at a level it has not been since (my) records began!
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without

Final few UU's of April (if I don't list them here then they didn't happen 🤣)

ELF Gel Yeah Moisturiser - really liked this, was very lightweight but left skin feeling hydrated.  WBA, but have replaced with Kiehl's Oil Free Moisturiser as really liked the sample I used in March so got the 30ml to try for a bit longer.

Skin & Me Treatment - WBA, already have another ready to go

ELF Poreless Putty Liquid Primer - WNBA, need something that helps mattify my skin

UD All Nighter Setting Spray - Staple in my routine, have a replacement ready to go

Erborian BB Cream Mini - Changed my mind on this a few times over the months. I do like it but sometimes it really oxidised on my skin but I couldn't really work out why.  Good for a work from home day.  Still think I prefer the red correct CC cream when I want something light day to day.

UD Last Call - OMG, I've been trying to use this up for so long it's ridiculous but it's finally gone, alongside UD Grifter too which was in the same palette and now the entire palette is done and can be recycled 🥳🥳🥳

JSS The Aftershow Treatment Cleanser for Sensitive Skin - this was ok, not as good as the original and definitely think I need something with a little more oomph to clean my skin properly.  Have moved on to a mini of the Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip which my skin is definitely loving so far.

    In total April has seen:

    OUTS - 35 @ £287.82
    INS - 19 @ £234.16

which I'm happy with as I only bought what needed replacing.  Have a lot of things almost done ready for May and hopefully won't have to buy too many replacements.
